The Sheboygan Jaycees and the Sheboygan Diamond Club hosted a free Aquafina/Major League Baseball "Pitch, Hit and Run" competition at The Sheboygan A's Diamond on Saturday, May 9. Thank you to those that showed up on that chilly afternoon and congratulations to those that are moving forward!

UPDATE:  Brent Widder, 8, of Sheboygan will get a chance to compete at Miller Park in the Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit and Run Competition. Widder won the local competition for the 7/8 division, hosted by the Sheboygan Diamonds and Sheboygan Jaycees, then won the sectional competition in Appleton on June 13.

There were five sectional winners in the state. The top four (which Widder was part of), compete in the Milwaukee Brewers 2009 Team Championship on June 28.

Should Widder win there, he may have a chance to compete in the finals at the All-Star Game in July at St. Louis.
